Traditional headdress

Traditional Sámi headdress – winter maiden hat – “Tāllv kabperi nӣyt” («Та̄лльв кабперь нӣйт»). Made in 2015 from reindeer leather, decorated with Sami bead embroidery and leather appliqué, decorated with fur down from mink and Arctic fox fur. The inside is made of fleece, hat ties are woven of colored yarn.
