About Artist
My Meskwaki name is Nananinetoke (Bear clan), Nimeowi (Fish clan). I have been actively beading since my teen years, first by watching my mom work and gradually developing my own style and methods. I prefer to use the smaller size beads like 13 or 15 because finished project looks nicer and more detailed plus I just have more fun. I concentrate most of my designs on abstract florals that are inspired by our local environment but I also enjoy creating images from the contemporary society live video game characters or cartoons. Anything is possible in this medium.
