Kutkh the Raven is the Сreator of Kamchatka land. He created people, salmon, animals, and birds. Kutkh also created beautiful Kamchatka landscape with its volcanoes and river valleys. He is also a trickster. Itelmen people have many teasing stories about Kutkh. This island is created out of the salmon skin. It is a form of our traditional art that we use to tell our stories. I decorated it with mink fur as a finishing touch.
