From Siberia with Love

This work was created by the children of the Tomsk Kindergardern #21 under guidance of Olga Kostrova. For several years the kindergarten ​​has been cooperating with the Tomsk regional non-governmental organization “Union of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Tomsk Region”. The kindergarten teachers introduce children to the culture and creation stories of the Indigenous peoples of Russia, and also conduct workshops. In this work, the children depicted the sacred tree of Siberia – the cedar, which is of great value to our region and the planet as a whole. A bear was made from the dough. It is a symbol of masculinity and strength of Siberia. Bear image reflects an unshakable spirit and power.
